Freelance

I’ve been working under the name Freelance from this spot in Mangalore for a while now. Deepikalaya is right near the St Bridget's Convent and the Calvary Shrine in Nanthoor. It's a quiet enough area, though traffic picks up during certain hours. I handle things on a freelance basis here. Mostly just me at the desk. The building has been around for some time. I don't have a big office or fancy signs out front. People usually find me through word of mouth or by just knowing the neighborhood. Being near the shrine makes it easy to give directions. It’s pretty straightforward. I started doing this because I needed a flexible way to work and it just stuck. There’s a lot of trees around here, which is nice when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the internet acts up, but that’s just how it is. I keep my files organized and try to get through the daily tasks without making too much of a fuss. It isn't anything elaborate. Just a regular workspace where I get my projects done and keep things moving. I’ve lived in Mangalore for most of my life, so staying here in Nanthoor feels right. It's home. I don't have a team of people, just myself managing the schedule. It works for me. If I'm not at the desk, I'm probably out grabbing a tea or something.
