We have been here at N J Crest for a while now. The office is on the first floor, room 101, so you don’t have to climb too many stairs. Usually, the fan is running because it gets sticky in Mangalore. We sit at the desks and handle things as they come. Malaraya Temple Road gets busy sometimes, especially when people are visiting the temple or heading towards the Sony Showroom nearby. We see the same faces walking by most mornings. It’s a small team here. We mostly just keep things moving, answering the phone when it rings. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a few computers that have seen better days. We try to keep the place tidy but there’s always some paperwork lying around. Living and working in Chillimbi is nice because everything is close by. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much but you get used to the noise. We’ve got a window that looks out towards the street, and it’s good for seeing who is coming and going. Most of us have lived in this city our whole lives. We know the shortcuts and which roads to avoid during peak hours. If you’re looking for the Sony Showroom, we’re basically right there. It’s a plain building, but it works for us. We just come in, do what needs doing, and go home to our families when the day is done. It is a simple life.
