Durga Travel Agency

We’ve been running Durga Travel Agency for a while now here in Mulky. Our office is in the Punaroor Complex, right on the Nh17 Mainroad. If you know the area, we are at Door No 511A12, which is basically right across from the Vijaya Bank and the petrol bunk there. It gets quite busy on this main road with all the traffic passing through, but it makes it easy for people to spot us when they need to get their travel stuff sorted out. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just help people with their trips and tickets. Being near the petrol bunk is handy because everyone stops there anyway. My desk is usually covered in papers and schedules, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with bus timings and train routes all day. Sometimes the noise from the highway is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few months. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. People in Mangalore know this stretch of road well. We just open up in the morning, handle whatever comes through the door, and try to get things done without too much fuss. It’s a small place, nothing like those big corporate offices in the city center. We just focus on what the local people need when they come in. If you are heading down Nh17, you’ll see our sign clearly enough near the bunk.
