Bhagirathi Travels

Our office is located at Gurukripa on Mangaladevi Temple Road. We are right across from the Sri Ramakrishna Dispensary, which is a good landmark if you are coming from the main part of town. Being near the Mangaladevi Temple means it is a pretty busy area with a lot of history, and we have been part of this neighborhood for a good while now. The building is older, but it has a lot of character. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day's bookings. It is a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute I might be on the phone with a hotel and the next I’m helping someone with their bus tickets. We don't have any fancy posters or a big reception area. It is just a plain office where we do our work. We think it is important to be straightforward with people. We tell them what's possible and what isn't. Mangalore is a place where everyone knows everyone, so you can't really afford to be anything but honest. We see a lot of the same faces month after month. It is nice to have that connection with the people who live around here. We just try to be helpful and keep things running as smoothly as the local traffic allows. Some days are harder than others, but we like the work we do and the area we are in.
