We operate out of the Railway Colony here in Puri, specifically at Quarter No T8 B. It is a busy place because of the trains and the people coming and going all the time. Sukanta Ku Mohanty is the one who keeps things moving along here at Poorbanchal Catter. We handle a lot of food and stuff for different events and everyday needs around Orissa. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or getting things ready for delivery. Being in a railway colony means there is always noise and movement, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We started this because we knew how to cook and people needed a reliable hand for their gatherings. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny brochures. Most people find out about us just by asking around or seeing our bags being moved. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot or when there are too many orders at once. We just do the best we can with the hands we have. If you are looking for us, just head towards the colony and ask for the T8 block. We are usually there chopping vegetables or packing up containers. It's a simple life and we like it that way, just keeping people fed and busy with our daily cooking tasks.
