Our location is in Aparna Nagar within the Chauliaganj area of Cuttack. It’s a neighborhood that has a lot of history and a very settled feel to it. Our office is a basic building where we take care of the bank's day-to-day business. Cuttack is known for its narrow streets and busy markets, but Aparna Nagar is a bit more relaxed. We have a simple interior with wooden desks and several metal cupboards for all the paperwork we have to process. The floor is just plain tiles and the walls are decorated with some basic charts and a clock. We spend a lot of time checking entries and making sure the balances are correct at the end of every day. During the monsoon season, the humidity is very high, and we have to make sure the paper documents don't get damp. We usually eat our lunch together at the main table when the office is quiet. Most of the people who come to see us are from the local area, so the conversations are usually about local happenings. We don't use any high-flown language or have a polished corporate look. It’s just a small group of us doing honest work in a regular neighborhood building. We like the steady routine and the familiar faces we see every day. It is a very practical and no-nonsense place to work, and we prefer it that way.
