Our office is located at Barrage Colony in the Gandarpur area of Cuttack. We operate out of a space near the Rajashree Sarangi residence, specifically at Qr No F 9. It’s a quiet part of Orissa, away from the main city noise, which makes it a nice place to get work done. We’ve been functioning as a consultant here for quite some time, helping people in the 753003 pin code area find work. It’s not a big professional setup with glass partitions. Instead, it’s a more personal space where we can sit down and actually talk to people. Most of our day is taken up by sorting through applications and speaking with local businesses about what kind of help they need. Cuttack can be quite hot, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we work through the files. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to filing the paperwork. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. We focus on the basics of HR, like making sure people have their IDs ready and checking their past work history. It’s very practical work. We’ve built up a good relationship with the people in the colony over the years. It’s just a small, local operation trying to help folks get employed.
