We've been here at Alaamchand Bazar for a while now. Most people know the G C Bose building, it's a landmark in this part of Cuttack. Being near Buxi Bazar means it gets pretty crowded around here, especially during the peak hours when everyone is out and about. We mostly spend our days handling the usual paperwork and talking to folks who walk in with questions about their connections. It’s not a fancy glass office, just a regular place where we get the work done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much, but that is just part of living and working in this city. We know the neighbors pretty well and usually grab tea from the same spot every afternoon. Our address is officially C Omr G C Bose, but most locals just find us by looking for the sign near the post office. It gets hot in the summers, and we just keep the fans going and stay busy with whatever files are on the desk that day. It isn't anything glamorous, just a group of us making sure things keep running like they are supposed to. People come in, ask their questions, we try to sort them out, and that's the day. Cuttack has its own pace and we have just settled into it over the years. We don't really do big speeches or anything, we just stay here and keep things moving as best as we can.
