Mahal Bricks & Cement Products

Our place is right there in Bhagatpur, just off the Main Road and close to the Main Market. If you’re heading towards the Shiv Mandir, you’ll see us easily enough. We handle a mix of things here, not just the usual bricks but also different cement products. Tangi can be a pretty lively area, especially on market days when everyone is out and about. It gets noisy with the temple bells and the people passing by on the road. We started out small and just kept adding more space as we needed it. The yard is usually full of blocks and pipes drying out in the sun. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we’re in the middle of a big batch. We don't really do the corporate thing with fancy uniforms or polished desks. It’s just a basic shed where we do the paperwork and the rest of the time we’re outside. The dust from the cement gets on everything, but that’s just part of the business. We get a lot of walk-ins because of the location near the temple. People stop their bikes and ask about prices while they’re on their way to do their shopping. We just give them a straight answer and show them what we’ve got ready. It’s a local business run by local people, and that’s how we like it. We try to keep things simple and honest without any of that big city talk. Most of our customers are our neighbors anyway.
