Kheta Utkarsh Producer Company Limited is situated along Baunsnali Road in Kajala, within the Jashipur area. We use Satyaban Mohanta’s place as our hub for everything we do. If you’re driving down the road, you might see us gathered there discussing our plans. We’re a group of farmers from the Moudi GP who decided it was time to work together instead of competing. It’s a rural life out here, and we like it that way, even if it’s tough sometimes. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s mostly just us meeting under a tree or on Satyaban’s porch to figure out our next steps for the season. We deal with all sorts of crops, and every year is a bit different depending on what nature throws at us. We don’t have any polished speeches about what we do or why we do it. It’s just farming. We get our hands dirty, we worry about the rain, and we try to help each other when things get difficult. Jashipur is our home, and we want to see the farmers here do okay for themselves. We share what we have, whether it’s knowledge or equipment. It’s a simple way of living, really. We aren’t looking to become some massive corporation; we just want to make sure the work we put into the ground actually pays off. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we’re used to it. We keep moving forward.
