Srishti High School

Srishti High School is situated over on Polur Road in Maruthi Nagar. It is a pretty busy part of the neighborhood. We deal with high schoolers mostly, so things are never exactly quiet around the halls. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age a little, but it is home to us and the students. We have got a set of classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit during their off hours. Most of our students come from the surrounding streets in Maruthi Nagar, so we know their parents and families pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the daily grind, making sure the schedule is followed and the exams are ready when they need to be. It is not always easy, especially when the power goes out or it rains hard on Polur Road and everything gets a bit muddy outside. We do what we can with what we have. The teachers are local people who genuinely care about the kids doing okay in their studies. We do not have those big fancy labs you see on the news, but we have the essentials for science and math. During the break, the kids gather out front or in the hallways to talk. It is just a regular school trying to help the youth around here get through their high school years. We don't promise any miracles, just a place to learn. (255 words)
