Jawahar Matriculation School

Jawahar Matriculation School is located on Thiruvalluvar Road, right in Block 17 of the Neyveli Town Ship. Being in the township, we have a lot of students whose parents work nearby. The school has a good amount of space around it, which is lucky for us. We have several rows of classrooms and a small library that’s usually quite full. The building is a bit plain, but it's functional and stays relatively cool during the summer months. Mornings start with the assembly out in the yard, and then everyone heads to their classes. We follow the matriculation system, so there's a lot of focus on the exams and getting the marks right. The benches are a bit hard, but the students don't seem to complain much. We have some old trees around the perimeter that provide a bit of a breeze. It’s a regular routine of bells ringing every hour and teachers moving from one room to another. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; the school has just been part of the township for years. Sometimes the playground gets a bit muddy after the rains, but it dries out eventually. It’s a steady, reliable place for the kids in Neyveli to come and learn their subjects day after day. We just try to keep things orderly so the students can focus on their studies and not get too distracted by everything else going on outside the gates.
