Aysha Nabiyallah School

Our school is situated on Imperial Road here in Cuddalore. It’s a well-known street, so finding us isn't usually a problem for people in the area. The building has a simple look to it, fitting right in with the other structures along the road. We have a set of classrooms that we use every day, and they get quite a bit of sunlight in the afternoons. Cuddalore can get pretty warm, so we have fans going most of the time to keep the air moving for the students. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so you’ll see them heading home together in small groups after the final bell rings. We keep a regular schedule, starting with the morning assembly and then moving into the different subjects. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and books, which is just how things go when you're busy teaching. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do, we just make sure the children learn their letters and their numbers. The courtyard is where the kids spend their free time, and it’s never really quiet out there. Imperial Road stays busy with buses and cars, but we have a solid gate to keep things separate. It’s just a normal school where local families send their children. We have been here for a while and plan to stay right where we are. Every day is about the same routine, which is fine by us.
