We are located out here in Koeti Patti, which is a quiet part of Pollachi if you know the area. Most days start pretty early because the sun gets hot fast. White India Foods And Exports has been in this spot for a while now, right where the coconut trees are everywhere. It’s mostly just us handling the daily loads and making sure things get packed up for the trucks. There isn’t much fancy about the office, it’s just a place to get the work done. Sometimes the electricity goes off but we manage. My father used to say that as long as the work is moving, everything is fine. We handle a lot of exports, which sounds big, but it’s really just about checking bags and making sure the quality isn't bad before they leave the yard. The neighbors know us well and often stop by for a chat. Pollachi is famous for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many spots along these roads doing our part. It gets dusty when the wind picks up, especially in the afternoons. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know the rhythm of the place. It’s hard work, especially during the peak season when everything arrives at once. We just keep the floor clean and try to stay organized. That is pretty much how things go around here day after day without much fuss.
