Down here at Sowripalayam Post, things move at their own pace. We are located at Devikripa in Chandragandhi Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area most days. Vsj Organics is really just a small group of us trying to do something useful with organic products. We spend a lot of time checking on batches and making sure things are packed right. It gets hot in the afternoons but we keep at it. We didn't want a big corporate office in the middle of the city. This spot suits us much better. My cousin helps out with the deliveries sometimes when we get bogged down. We get a lot of neighbors walking by and asking what we are up to. It’s nice to be part of the community here. The way people eat is changing and we noticed that a few years back. Everything we do is pretty straightforward. No big secrets or complicated processes. We just source what we can and get it ready for people. Sometimes the labels aren't perfectly straight but the stuff inside is good. That's what matters most to us anyway. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job every day and go home tired but happy. It is a long walk to the main road so we usually bring our lunch from home.
