Delta Seeds

Delta Seeds is based out of Iswarya Nager in the Gandhi Nagar Post area. We have been at number 62 for quite some time now. Our work is all about seeds and the farming cycles that dictate our lives. The warehouse is where we keep everything and it always smells a bit like earth and dried plants. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and making sure the bags are labeled right before they go out to the growers. It’s not a glamorous job and the office is just a corner with a desk and some chairs where we keep our ledgers. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the big markets which is nice when we are trying to count things out. We see a lot of farmers who come by to pick up what they need for their fields. They tell us about the rain or the lack of it and how their crops are doing. It makes the work feel more real when you hear how the seeds are actually performing in the ground. We have a few workers who help with the heavy lifting and the packing. The days can be long when it’s sowing season but we don't mind the extra hours because it is part of the life. We just try to keep things simple and make sure the right seeds get to the right people.
