Agri Farm

Out here at No. 4/51 Vadavalli, things stay pretty busy throughout the year. It is a quiet spot, which works out well for a farm environment. We spend nearly all of our time out in the fields or working in the storage sheds. It is definitely not like an office job. Our hands are usually dirty and we are wearing heavy boots from morning until night. The work we do depends a lot on what the weather is doing. If it rains too much, we cannot get much done in the mud. If it is too dry for too long, we start to worry about the crops. That is just how it is when you work the land. We have a small staff here. We all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be fixing a broken fence, and the next day I am checking the soil moisture. We do not have any big slogans or goals other than getting the work done. We just grow what we can and sell it to whoever is buying. Some seasons are much better than others. Last year was a bit of a struggle with the pests, but we managed to get through it. People from around the Vadavalli area know who we are. We are not looking to become a massive company. We just want to keep the farm going and look after the land. It takes a lot of hours, but we find a way.
