Ganesh Rice Mundy

Ganesh Rice Mundy is located at No. 26 M. G. R. Street, just off Thondamuthur Road in Vadavalli. We’ve been selling rice to the local community here for a long time. The shop is filled with sacks of different varieties of rice, from the everyday stuff to the more expensive grains for special occasions. We keep a ledger of what comes in and what goes out, and we make sure the storage area stays dry and clean. It can be heavy work, moving those large sacks around all day, but we're used to it. We aren't a big supermarket chain, just a local rice mundy that people trust. Sometimes we have a bit of a chat with the customers about the harvest or the weather while they wait for their order. It’s just a steady, honest way to make a living in this neighborhood and we plan to stay here.
