We are located up in Coonoor at 48 Mount Road, right near the Lawly Hospital area. Being in the Nilgiris means we are surrounded by tea, which is exactly what we deal with every day. It’s a bit cooler up here than down in the plains, which helps with the work. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place to manage the estate stuff and handle the paperwork that comes with growing and selling tea. We spend a lot of time looking at leaves and talking to the folks who work out on the slopes. The mist rolls in quite often, making the roads a bit tricky, but that's just life in the hills. We've been at this Mount Road spot for a bit now. It’s a practical location because it’s central enough for people to find us. We don't do much in the way of advertising; mostly, it's just word of mouth and long-standing connections in the tea trade. There’s always something to do, whether it's checking on the harvest or dealing with the logistics of moving crates down the mountain. The building itself is older, with that typical Coonoor feel to it. We keep things simple and focus on the tea. It’s a quiet kind of business, rooted in the land around us. Not much more to it than that, just daily chores and tea leaves. We take things as they come and try to keep the business running smoothly year after year.
