You can find Shiva Distilleries Limited down at 45, Mettupalayam Road. We’re tucked into the Narasimha Naickenpalayam area, which isn't the quietest part of town, but it works for what we do. The building is pretty large because of all the equipment we need for distilling. It’s a lot of metal tanks, pipes, and loud machinery humming along all day long. We have a crew that’s been with us for a long time, and they know the ropes. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the roof. We don't have fancy office chairs or a break room with a TV. Usually, we just sit outside for a bit when we get a breather. There’s always a truck coming in or going out, hauling stuff. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of dust or a spill to clean up. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to make sure the batches are right and the bottles get filled. It’s a straightforward business. We show up early, we stay late if we have to, and we go home tired. That’s just how it is. We’ve got some neighbors who have been around as long as we have, so we all kind of look out for each other on this stretch of road. It keeps the community feeling real.
