Taste Makers

If you're looking for Taste Makers, we are at 198 on Maruthamalai Main Road. We’re right by the Thiruvalluvar Nagar Bus Stop in Vadavalli. It’s a good spot because there are always people around waiting for their ride. Sometimes they stand in our doorway to get out of the sun or the rain, and we don’t mind it at all. Vadavalli is a nice area, but the main road gets really busy with all the buses and bikes going toward the temple. Our shop is just a basic setup. We’ve got the counter and some storage, and the usual things you’d find in a place like ours. We start things up in the morning and keep going until late. It gets dusty being so close to the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. Most of our neighbors are other small shops, so we all know each other. It’s a bit of a community here. If the bus is late, we end up chatting with the people outside for a bit. There isn't any corporate training or anything like that here. We just know how to do our jobs and we do them. The sign outside is a little faded from the sun, but people still find us okay. It’s a practical place for practical work. Anyway, that’s where we are, right there by the stop.
