Suriya Food Products

Suriya Food Products is tucked away at 59-A on Sanganoor Road in the Ganapathy area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by outside our door. Inside, we spend most of the day preparing and packing different kinds of food items. It gets quite warm in the back where the machines are running, especially in the afternoons when the humidity picks up. We are a small team here and everyone has to pitch in with everything, whether it is cleaning the floors or sealing up the bags. Sometimes the supply of raw ingredients doesn't arrive on time because of the traffic on Sanganoor Road, which can be a real headache for us. We don’t have any big corporate office or anything like that, just a functional space where we get the work done. The walls are a bit stained from the steam and the floors are always a little sticky no matter how much we scrub them. It is hard work but we are used to the routine by now. People in Ganapathy seem to know where we are, even though our sign isn't the biggest on the street. We just keep our heads down and focus on making enough stock to fill the orders for the week. It’s a simple business and we try not to make things more complicated than they need to be for ourselves or the customers.
