We are located at 390, Phase I of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. If you’re looking for us, we are right near Anbu Electricals. Sri Venkateswara School Metals Suppliers is basically a yard and a small office where we handle all the metal stuff schools might need. It’s heavy work. We spend a lot of time moving pipes, sheets, and frames around. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the yard, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. It’s not a glamorous business. Our clothes are usually dusty and there’s always the sound of metal clanging together. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Most of our work comes from word of mouth between different schools and contractors in the area. We’ve been in this part of the housing board for a long time. People know they can just drop by and see what we have in stock. We don't try to push people into buying things they don't need. If we don't have the right metal, we just tell them. It’s easier to be honest than to make promises we can't keep. The office is small and usually has a few calendars on the wall and a lot of notebooks filled with measurements. We just do our bit to keep the local schools supplied with what they require for their buildings and furniture.
