St Joseph Iti & Polytechnic

People here in Krishnagiri usually find us right across from that Soolamabai bus stop in Periyathallihalli. It’s a busy spot, mostly with students coming in for the technical courses. We’ve been running St Joseph Iti & Polytechnic for a while now. The building is just a normal place where we keep the machinery and classrooms. It gets pretty loud when the practical sessions are going on, especially in the workshops. Most days, you’ll see guys in their uniforms covered in a bit of grease or dust. That’s just part of learning the trade. We have various departments, and the teachers mostly focus on getting the work done. It isn't some fancy high-tech lab you see in movies, but we have the tools that are needed. Sometimes the power goes out, or we have to fix a machine ourselves, but we manage. Students come from all over the Periyapanamuthu area. We spend a lot of time just making sure the equipment is working so the classes can actually happen. It's a lot of manual work and sitting at desks too. We don't really do much of the fancy advertising things. Most people know where we are because of the bus stop. It's just a place to come, learn a skill, and then head home. The gates open early and we stay until the last batch finishes their practicals. It’s pretty straightforward work for everyone involved here and we just keep things moving.
