If you find yourself at the GR Complex in Coimbatore, you’ll find us at number 1566. It is a busy spot in Tamil Nadu. The college is tucked away in a place where there is always someone coming or going. The stairs get a lot of use every day with students running up and down between their classes. It’s not a quiet building by any means. You can hear the sounds of the city outside all the time. Inside, it’s mostly just people trying to learn things and get through their exams. We have desks that have seen better days and computers that sometimes need a good tap to start. The staff spends a lot of time organizing papers and talking to students about their attendance. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so everyone looks forward to the evening breeze. There isn’t much drama here, just the regular routine of a college. We see a lot of different faces every year. Some stay for a bit, some move on quickly. The GR Complex is a landmark for most people around here, so we are easy to find. We don't have a giant campus with gardens, just these rooms where the teaching happens. It’s practical and it works for what we need. People just come here to study and hopefully get a job later on. It is a very standard setup without any bells or whistles.
