Sri Vari Exports

At Sri Vari Exports, our days are mostly spent dealing with piles of goods and a lot of logistics. We are situated at 279 Karupasamy Kovil Road in P Puliampatti, which is a busy enough spot for what we do. The road outside can get a bit congested when the lorries are trying to turn, but we manage to get things loaded and unloaded eventually. We handle a lot of packing and checking to make sure everything is where it should be before it leaves the building. The office part is just a small desk with a lot of papers and a phone that rings more often than I would like. It is noisy work, with the sound of tape dispensers and heavy boxes being shifted across the floor. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains come and we have to worry about keeping everything dry under the tin roofs. We employ a few local people from around Puliampatti who know the rhythm of the place well. It is a practical business without any frills. We focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It is not always easy, and some days are much longer than others, but we have built a life out of this export work and the community around Karupasamy Kovil Road.
