Sri Lakshmi Fibres

We’ve been over at C-2 in the Sidco Private Industrial Estate for quite some time now. Working with fibres is what fills our days, and it's mostly about keeping the machines running and making sure the raw materials are sorted right. It gets a bit noisy in the shed when everything is moving at once, but that is just how it goes here. People usually find us easily enough once they get into the estate. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or anything like that. Most of the space is taken up by the stock. Handling these materials requires a bit of patience because the textures can be tricky depending on the weather. Sometimes the humidity makes things stickier, other times it’s fine. We just handle what comes in and get it ready for the next stage. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the daily load is managed before the sun goes down. There isn’t much to say other than we show up, do the work, and try to keep the place organized. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives at the gate. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the industrial estate over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It's practical work for practical people. We just keep our heads down and deal with the fibres. Sri Lakshmi Fibres has been our livelihood for a long time and we hope it stays that way.
