You can find us over at No. 220/A on Rangakonar Street in Kattoor. We’re Advance Machinery Corpn, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Kattoor is a place where people actually make things, and we fit right in. Our shop is full of heavy parts and machines that have been around for years. It’s not a clean place—there’s grease on the door handles and dust on the shelves—but that’s because we’re always working. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to tell us how to look professional. We just wear our work clothes and get on with the repairs or the sales that come our way. Rangakonar Street is usually pretty crowded, so there’s always something going on outside our front door. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see a machine, you just walk into the back where the lights are a bit dim and take a look for yourself. We aren't big on talking about how great we are. We just know our way around the equipment we sell. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job, and sometimes we close up early if the rain is too heavy. It’s just a regular local shop where we do our best with what we have. People know us here, and we like it that way. No fuss, just machinery and hard work. It's been our home for a long time.
