Anandam Exports

Our place, Anandam Exports, is tucked away at 54, 6Th Street in Lakshmi Puram. It’s off Masakalipalayam Road, near the Hope Collage area in Peelamedu. It’s a bit of a long address, but once you find the street, we aren't hard to spot. We do export work, so there’s always a lot of talk about shipping dates and container space. The office is small and filled with samples of what we send out. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded with all the boxes waiting to be checked. We’ve been in Peelamedu for several years. It’s a good neighborhood with lots of other small businesses around. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the orders ready. There’s a lot of checking and re-checking involved in exports. You can’t afford to make mistakes with the paperwork. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually go when we need a break. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is what it’s supposed to be. It’s a daily grind of emails and logistics. We are just a bunch of regular folks working at Anandam Exports. We like the location here on 6Th Street. It’s familiar and works for what we do. We just keep moving along, one shipment at a time. It is a busy life for us, but we are used to it.
