Allwin

Allwin is based at 330 Kumaran Road. It’s a busy part of the town, and being right on the road means there’s always noise from the bikes and cars zooming past. We’ve been here for some time now. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the front door that sticks whenever the rainy season starts. We do all sorts of things here, mostly just general business that keeps us occupied throughout the week. Our space is pretty crammed with stuff, boxes piled here and there, and notebooks filled with scribbled orders. We don’t use a lot of high-tech gear, just what we need to get the job done. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You’ll usually see one of us standing out front or moving stuff around the back room. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for many years. We talk to the customers like they’re neighbors because mostly they are. Sometimes we forget to update the signs or the paint gets a bit chipped, but the work gets done regardless. It’s the kind of shop where you can just walk in and ask a question without feeling like you’re bothering someone. We appreciate the people who keep coming back to us. It keeps the place going and gives us something to do every morning when we open the shutters up and start the day.
