Sreesivamill

Our mill is located at 16/10, Chinnasamy Gounder Layout, specifically on 5th Street in Karuvampalayam. We are right off Mangalam Main Road, which makes things easy for transport but the traffic can be a real headache in the afternoons. We have been working from this spot for a long time now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we get the job done. It gets quite dusty inside with all the machinery running, and the noise is something you just have to get used to. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. Most of them live just a few streets away. We don't have a front desk or anyone to greet you; you usually just find us on the floor or in the small back office. The street gets narrow when trucks are loading up, so there is always some shouting and maneuvering going on outside. We handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the paperwork. It is a simple operation and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. The tea shop at the corner is where we spend our breaks. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait around, but that is part of life here. We just focus on keeping the machines running and finishing the orders on time.
