Jeo- Engineering Company

Jeo- Engineering Company has its workshop at 1/190-A in the Lic Colony. We are right near Rathnam Hospital, which is the easiest way to find us if you are coming toward Sidco Po. The shop is filled with the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being cut. We have a few lathes and some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk between the machines when we have a big order going on. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work. We usually have a radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the grinding. Our office is just a small corner with a metal desk and a few chairs for when someone needs to sit down and talk about a drawing. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. People from the hospital area sometimes walk by and peek in to see what all the noise is about. It’s just regular engineering work, making parts and fixing whatever comes our way. We’ve been at this location for a good while and the neighbors know us by name. It’s a busy life but we are used to the grease and the long hours.
