Airtouch Engineering

For a good number of years now, we have been operating out of 73/1, Kunninaicken Thottam. It is tucked away on Athipalayam Road in Chinnavedampatty. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done for us. Our work is mostly general engineering. It is usually just me and a couple of others here every morning. Starting time is usually nine unless the traffic is really bad. The machines we use are old, but we know exactly how they behave. You get a feel for it after a while. The area around Chinnavedampatty has grown a lot since we first opened. There are more houses and shops now, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the back that we need to clear out one of these days. It gets pretty dusty in here when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. We don't have a fancy website or a sales guy. Most people just walk in or call us because they know we are nearby. We also have a small desk where we keep our bills, though it is usually buried under a pile of catalogs and old blueprints. The tea boy from across the road knows our order by heart and brings it over around eleven without us even asking. It is those little things that make the day easier. We just try to get through the work without too many breakdowns.
