Out here at No. 1, Bharathiyar Road in Ganapathy, things stay pretty loud. If it isn't the traffic outside, it’s the sound of the work going on inside our shop. We’ve been operating in this corner for years. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are, right there on the main stretch. It’s a small team, mostly local guys who have been doing this kind of engineering work since they were young. We don't have a big reception area with air conditioning. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a workbench. Sometimes the floor is a bit cluttered with scrap metal or parts waiting to be picked up, but that’s just how a working shop looks. We don't bother much with fancy advertising or anything. Most of our jobs come from people just dropping by or hearing about us from someone else on the road. The weather here can get quite sticky, so the fans are always going full blast. We try to keep things simple. If a part needs making or a machine needs a fix, we look at it and tell you what can be done. There’s no script we follow. We just take the work as it comes and try to finish it so the next guy can get his stuff. Bharathiyar Road is always moving, and we’re just part of that daily flow, trying to keep the machines humming.
