Amudha Engineering Works

We are located over in Kamarajan Nagar, right behind the Hindustan Unilever facility. Being tucked away behind such a big factory makes it fairly easy for people to find Amudha Engineering Works if they know the area. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a typical engineering workspace with tools and machines scattered around where we need them. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most of the locals know us. It’s often a bit messy inside because there is always some project being worked on. We don't really have a front office or a waiting room, so if you come by, you’re likely to see us right in the middle of a job. Kamarajan Nagar is a decent area for a business like ours. It stays busy enough without being too chaotic. We spend our days fixing things and making parts, and we don't really think much about being "corporate." We're just a small engineering outfit trying to do a good job for whoever walks through the door. It’s hard work and it gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't have any big slogans or promises. We just take the work as it comes and try to be honest about what we can do. That’s how we’ve always operated here behind the Unilever plant. It is dusty and loud most of the time, but it is where we work and we like it.
