You can find Aim Engineering Industries at B No.27/5 in Anjugam Nagar, over in the Chinnavedampatti area of Ganapathy. It is a local place where the guys show up on their bikes and start the day by checking the power supply. If the electricity is acting up, we just sit outside for a bit until it stabilizes. The workshop isn’t huge, but we have managed to cram everything we need into the space. We do a lot of measuring and double-checking because mistakes mean wasting material, and metal isn't cheap these days. There’s a small desk in the corner where the paperwork stays, though it usually gets covered in dust by noon. We don’t wear uniforms or anything like that; just old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they have a certain weight to them that feels right in your hand. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask for a bit of help with a stuck bolt or something small, and we try to help out when we can. The fans overhead hum all day long, trying to move the thick air around. It is a noisy life, but you get used to the rhythm of the hammers and the grinders after a few weeks. It keeps us out of trouble, I suppose.
