The Sandfits Institute Of Manufacturing Skills is situated at SF No.200/1A on Trichy Road, right near the Kannampalayam Post. Being out on Trichy Road means we are in an area that sees a lot of industrial activity every day. Our place is more like a workshop than a corporate office. You’ll see a lot of machinery, metal scraps, and tools lying around because that’s the heart of what we do. We focus on manufacturing skills, so there is usually the sound of something being cut, drilled, or shaped in the background. It gets quite loud and a bit dusty, so we all wear practical clothes and heavy boots. We have a small office area tucked away from the main floor where we handle the paperwork and the student registrations. The desks there are often covered in technical drawings and old manuals. It isn't a place for people who are worried about staying perfectly clean all day. We spend our time teaching people how to use the equipment properly and making sure they understand the basics of the trade. The building is a big, high-roofed structure that stays cool enough in the mornings but gets pretty warm by the middle of the afternoon. We have a small area outside with a couple of benches where we sit during breaks to get some fresh air. It’s a straightforward and very hardworking environment for everyone involved.
