Raenco Mills Pvt Ltd is located out on Thondamuthur Main Road in Veerakeralam. If you know this part of the country, you know it is a bit of a drive from the main city center, which is actually quite nice for us. We have our setup at 3/21 and it is where we spend our whole day. It is mostly about fabrics and textiles here. You can hear the sounds of the work going on throughout the shift. We aren't fancy people. Most of us just wear plain clothes and get to work as soon as we arrive in the morning. The air smells a bit like cotton and thread most of the time. We handle the production and the sorting of all the materials that come through. It is a lot of manual checking to make sure things are not messed up before they go out. We have been here for a long time and the locals in Veerakeralam know us. We do not have a big marketing team or a sleek reception desk. Usually, if you walk in, you will just see someone busy with a pile of cloth or talking to a driver about a delivery. The main road can get quite busy with tractors and trucks, but inside the mill, we have our own rhythm. We just focus on making sure the orders are ready on time. It is practical work and we enjoy the routine of it.
