Started this food business a few years back over here at Royal Roof Apartments. It’s a busy spot in Red Fields, right near Race Course. Most days we are just busy in the kitchen or checking the stock that comes in. We decided to set up here because it seemed like a good central place for people to find us. It’s not a huge office or anything, just a practical space where we handle the orders and make sure the food stuff is packed right. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially during the evenings, but we’ve gotten used to it. The staff here mostly live nearby, so they walk or take a quick bus. We don't really do much fancy stuff. We just focus on the daily tasks, making sure the inventory is correct and the containers are clean. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend a lot of time on our feet. If you come by Appusamy Layout, you’ll see our door. It’s just a regular workspace with some desks and a lot of boxes. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there’s stuff everywhere. That's just how it goes when you're dealing with food products and quick turnarounds. We’ve been at this for a while now and the routine stays pretty much the same. Morning prep, afternoon deliveries, and evening clean-up. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week.
