You can find our place at 477, Palakkad Main Road in the Kuniamuthur area. It is a busy spot on the main road, so there is always a lot of traffic going past. Premier Lakshmi Agro Foods Industries isn't some giant factory. It is a solid, practical building where we handle all our food processing work. There is usually a bit of dust in the air from the grains or whatever we are working on, and you can hear the machines humming from the street. We wear our regular work clothes and don't worry about looking too polished for anyone. The yard gets crowded with trucks coming in to drop off supplies or pick up orders. Sometimes when it rains, the ground gets a bit muddy and the drivers complain. We have been at this location for a good while. Most of the folks working here live nearby in Kuniamuthur, so we are all pretty familiar with each other. It is physical work, moving heavy bags and keeping an eye on the equipment to make sure everything is running right. We don't have a big fancy office out front, just a simple desk where we keep our logs and the telephone. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the shop and it gets quite warm, so we just prop the doors open for some air. It is just honest work, nothing more and nothing less for us.
