Pravathy Rice Mill

Pravathy Rice Mill is located at 589, Nondipalayam Main Road. If you drive down the main road, you can’t miss the sound of our mill running. We’ve been at this location for a long time now. It’s a very practical setup. We have the machinery for processing the paddy and a large shed for storage. It’s usually quite loud and dusty inside, so we spend a lot of time outdoors when we can. We work directly with the farmers around here, and when it’s harvest season, things get incredibly busy. We might be working late into the night just to keep up with all the grain coming in. We don’t have any fancy signs or a polished showroom. It’s just a working mill. We focus on getting the husks off and making sure the rice is clean before it goes into the bags. Sometimes things break down, and we have to scramble to get a mechanic out here, but that’s just part of the trade. We don’t bother with big marketing campaigns. The people who live along Nondipalayam Main Road know who we are and what we do. We just try to do a decent job and keep the mill running smooth. It’s tough work, but it’s what our family has been doing for years, and we don’t plan on changing much. We just keep our heads down and work because there is always another truck arriving soon.
