Poonthottam

Poonthottam is situated at 21/25, Vellipalayam Road in Mettupalayam. Mettupalayam is a busy place, especially with all the fruit and vegetables moving through here on their way to the hills. Our building is a bit older, sitting right there on the main road. It doesn't look like much from the outside, just a plain storefront with a bit of character. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic go by every day. Inside, it’s a quiet atmosphere. We don't have any flashy displays or a big sales floor. It’s mostly just us doing our daily tasks and talking to the people who stop in. We aren't the type to use big, fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just a local business that has been part of the Mettupalayam landscape for a long time. Sometimes the monkeys come down from the trees near the road, which adds a bit of excitement to the morning. We just go about our business, making sure everything is handled the right way. There isn't a mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. The focus is just on showing up and doing the work that needs doing. It’s a simple way to live, and Vellipalayam Road is a good place to be. We are just regular people running a regular shop, and we wouldn't have it any other way. The years pass by fast when you are busy.
