We’ve been here at 514 on 2nd Street for a while now. It's in the I.O.B. Nagar part of Sipcot in Ranipet. If you know the Vellore district, you know it gets quite hot during the day. We spend most of our time inside the building just getting through the daily tasks. There is a lot of industrial activity around us because of Sipcot, so you always hear the trucks or see people moving about. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. We have some desks, our equipment, and usually some tea sitting around. People come and go throughout the week. Finding the place is usually easy enough if you follow 2nd street all the way down. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that is just part of being in this area. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. It is just a practical space where the work happens. Most of us live nearby or commute from other parts of Ranipet. We like the quiet after the main shifts change in the industrial zone. It feels like a real community here. Some days are busier than others. We don't worry much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as we can get our things done. It’s just us here in Tamil Nadu, doing what we do every day without much fuss. We mostly just focus on the task right in front of us.
