Narayanaswamy Farm

Our farm is located at 7/21, Trichy Road, right near the Kannan Departmental Stores. It’s a bit of an odd spot because the road is so busy with cars and buses, but once you get back behind the buildings, things quiet down a bit. We spend a lot of time out in the dirt and dealing with whatever the weather decides to do that week. If it rains too much, we’re stuck cleaning up the mud, and if it’s too dry, we’re out there dragging hoses around. Narayanaswamy Farm isn't one of those big industrial places you see on the news. It’s just us working the land and trying to make sure things grow like they’re supposed to. We have a lot of old tools that have been repaired more times than I can count. Most of the day is just routine work, checking on the crops and making sure nothing is breaking. Being so close to the Kannan store is handy for people who need to find us, but we’re usually too busy to notice the shoppers. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a small space to keep our boots and some ledgers. It’s honest work and it’s usually pretty tiring by the time the evening rolls around. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the gate on Trichy Road that we open up every morning and close when we're finished.
