Manchester Food Products

Being located on Bhathsing 2nd Street in Velandipalayam means we are right in the middle of a lot of activity. Manchester Food Products operates out of No 3, and if you walk by, you can usually tell we are busy inside. The street isn't very wide, so when we have stuff coming in or going out, things can get a bit tight with the neighbors. We have a small crew here. Most of them have been with us for years, so everyone knows their job without much talking needed. The machines run for most of the day, and there is always that specific hum in the background that you stop noticing after a while. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure the seals are right. It is dusty work sometimes, but it’s what we do. The floor gets swept a lot because we like to keep it as clean as possible for food stuff. We don't really do much in the way of fancy office work; most of our time is spent on the floor where the actual products are. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of being in this area. We usually sit outside on the steps for a break when the sun isn't too hot. It is a straightforward operation, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, get the work done, and head home for the evening.
