Maghum Floritech

We work out of Techno Park 6, which is inside the Tamil Naidu Agricultural University campus. It’s located on Marudhamali Road, right near Lawley Road. Being on the university grounds means we are surrounded by people who really know their stuff when it comes to plants and farming. Maghum Floritech isn't a typical flower shop. We deal more with the technical side of growing things. The office is in a functional building, very standard for a university setting. We have desks, some lab equipment, and a lot of folders. It’s a quiet place to work most of the time. We spend our days looking at data or talking about greenhouse setups and how to make plants grow better in this climate. It’s a bit specialized, but we are just regular folks who happen to be interested in the science of flowers. The campus is quite large and green, which is a nice change from the dusty streets outside. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the right building in the Techno Park, but once they do, they see we are just a small team working on our projects. We don’t have any fancy marketing people or a big sales pitch. We just focus on the agricultural work we were set up to do. It’s a practical environment where we try to contribute something useful to the local growers. We’ve been in this spot for a while and plan to stay for the foreseeable future.
