Jayaram Modern Rice Mill

Jayaram Modern Rice Mill is located right on Kovai Main Road in Muthucholipalayam. We have been at this spot at number 79 A for several years. Milling rice is a lot of hard work and it gets quite loud inside when the machines are all running at once. You can usually smell the grain from the road before you even see the building. It is a messy job with plenty of dust and husks flying around, but we are used to it by now. We deal with the local farmers who bring their harvest in, and we try to get it processed as quickly as we can so they can get on with their day. The traffic on Kovai Main Road is always moving, so we see a lot of people passing by. It is just a family-run kind of place where everyone knows their job. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting things back in order, which can be frustrating. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the mill and a small area to sit down and talk. People in Muthucholipalayam know where to find us when the season starts. We keep things simple here and just focus on getting the rice cleaned and packed without making a big fuss about it. We have been doing this for a long time and plan to keep going.
