Jaga Rice

Jaga Rice is located at 5-96 on Ganapathi Road. It is not a very large place, but we have enough room to store what we need. Rice is something everyone needs, so we stay busy enough throughout the year. Ganapathi Road is usually quite loud with all the traffic passing by, but we don't pay much attention to it anymore. We spend most of our time weighing bags and checking the quality of the grains we get in. It is repetitive work, I suppose, but there is a certain rhythm to it that I like. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation with a fancy logo. We just want to make sure the rice is good and that the bags are filled correctly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit, which is a bit of a pain, but we make do. My cousin helps me out most days, and we just chat while we work. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that stuff. We just know that if the rice isn't right, people won't come back to Ganapathi Road to find us. So we just do what we have to do. It’s a bit dusty in here sometimes, and the bags are heavy to lift, but it keeps us strong. That is basically the whole story of our little shop.
