We are based at 128, Poonga Nagar, which is right near the Civil Aerodrome Post. It’s a quiet enough area, though you hear the planes now and then. We handle export and import connections, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and sitting at computers. It’s not as exciting as the name might sound. It’s really just about making sure things get from point A to point B without getting lost. We deal with all sorts of items and different people from all over. Sometimes the time zones mean we are here at odd hours, but that’s part of the trade. The office is small and filled with papers and half-empty tea cups. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us trying to make sense of shipping schedules and customs rules. Sometimes things go wrong with a container or a port is closed, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just logistics and keeping people informed. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time because they know we’ll give them a straight answer even when the news isn't great. It’s a simple setup and it works for us. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the paperwork so that nothing gets stuck for too long at the docks.
