G.V. Engineering Works

G.V. Engineering Works sits right at No1 on the 7th cross in K.P.R. Layout. It is a quiet corner of Singanallur most of the time, though the noise from our machines can carry a bit down the street. The building is a simple structure that has seen a lot of use over the seasons. We have a small crew here, and usually, someone is out front moving metal parts around or loading up a small truck. K.P.R. Layout is mostly residential around us, so we try to keep the loud grinding for the middle of the day. There is a small tea stall just around the corner that we visit way too often. The office part of the shop is just a desk with a lot of old ledgers and some spare parts that haven't found a home yet. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls just trying to finish a job. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that have been there since the place opened. It’s a practical space for practical work. We spend most of our hours troubleshooting mechanical issues or welding something back together. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where we spend our days and we are used to the rhythm of the machines and the heat from the forge.
